Padukone played in the national championships as young teenagers, however she decided to give her sporting career in order to become a model. Padukone is from Mangalorean background, and her mother tongue is Konkani. Her family tree is rooted in Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of Karnataka, the Indian state. Karnataka, India. Prakash Padukone's father was an international badminton champion who is retiring. The mother of the child is a travel agent.
